Note in Chapter 24 I tore apart Donald Trump and the alt-Right. Let me say that I highly respect a number of Right wing conservative journalists and Republican politicians, such as the late Charles Krauthammer, George Will, Bill Kristol, Ronald Reagan, Mitt Romney Condoleezza Rice and Steve Schmidt, who was a Republican strategist for George W. Bush, Arnold Schwarzenegger and John McCain, but who left the Republican party in 2018. And in Chapter 25 I reamed out the illiberal left, particularly college professors. I would like to say that I don’t believe all college and university professors are like that. In fact, I am indebted to a number of them:
Dr. Westhead, in my college Freshman Intro to Biology class that covered zoology (study of animals), botany (plants), microbiology, and then biochemistry. I remember Dr. Westhead in his first class on biochemistry, I recall him looking philosophically off into the distance and saying we were going to learn about the chemistry of life, the essence of our existence at the molecular level. That’s when I decided to major in biochemistry.
I’m indebted to Dr. Zimmerman, I learned a lot working in his biochem lab my senior year, and Dr. Thurmond, who offered me a job working in his lab after graduation.
But most particularly, I am grateful for professors at American International College. I went there for my Master’s in Elementary Ed, I graduated in the Spring of 1995. I am indebted to Dr. George Grosser, who asked me if he could include the word synthisophy in this Cyclopedic Education Dictionary.
And I am also indebted to Dr. Carol Spafford, who was my adviser during my time there at AIC. Along with her guidance I am in debt because she had me working part time in her office doing clerical work, which helped me pay my bills while I was in that graduate program.
The point here being, there are reasonable and moderate people on both sides of the aisle, both Democrat and Republican, that comprise a reasonable more Centrist perspective. As opposed to the alt-Right and illiberal Left. So with these two groups in mind, watch the following video where the leader appears to be doing a wonderful job only to lead everybody down the drain. That’s what can happen to the unneureal on both the far Left and far Right. There, everything looks and sounds great, until reality strikes, and they go down the tubes. So rather than going down the tubes, think for yourself, don’t let the alt-right or illiberal left do all the work so you don’t have to, don’t take their bull-pitch, be neureal, and then watch many of the things they are saying go down the drain.
You see, I had created this word and wrote a paper on it in one of my graduate Education classes, of which Dr. Augustus Pesce was the professor. Here’s what he wrote on the inside cover of this dictionary:
Here's the definition as it appears in that dictionary:
Synthisophy - the integration of socially pertinent information derived from the study of history into present culture.
